much any behavior choice. The real question is, how are they incentivised to make those choices?
Most of us would never rob, rape, steal or murder because we were raised to believe those things are immoral and we wish to be moral people. Some people choose personal gain over morality. Some have a sliding scale they use.
An example from my personal life is teaching kids with "Behavior Disorders". We are not allowed to punish them for behavior issues because they are part of their disability. If it is a true disability and they lack the ability to control it how am I able to predict how it will manifest? Over the course of my career, I have had multiple kids with behavior disorders go off on me and I have watched them go off on smaller or weaker kids. What I have never seen is a behavior-disordered kid go off on someone bigger and stronger than them. If it were truly out of their control wouldn't they pop off against people who could beat their asses? But it never happens, they go off on teachers and weaker kids because they have learned it will be excused but they will not risk getting their asses beat by tougher guys.
