Well the UFL is smart in that all the teams practice and are located at one facility in Texas so that keeps overhead down. And then both teams fly to the Stadium to play.
All the money from both teams go into the same coffer. The TV contract is around 20=25 million. A player makes around 50k and 400 a week housing stipend. Coaches around 67K.... So really the outlay isn't huge. It could develop a cult following over time and make a tidy profit for the FoxSports own's half, Redbird Capital Partners, Dany Garcia and the Rock!
Fox Sports probably loves having the content they control, they have about 600k watching per game... not far behind a regular season NCAA basketball game at 900K and to really put it in context a NBA game and MLB has about 1.5 million tune in per regular season game.
Really that is almost laughable and show's nobody is giving two shat about the NBA/MLB games if they verily double the UFL in views per game.
Also MLS the abomination sport Soccer only has 400K per game in viewer ship....
