There's been a lot of criticism about Jackson after this season's poor performance.
Many of you follow MU baseball more closely than I do. So, maybe you can answer some questions for me.
How much of the performance this season was on Jackson (poor coaching, poor preparation, etc.)? And how much was on the lack of talent on the roster?
From what I used to know about baseball (and the NIL era may have changed this), the better prospects had both top scholarship offers and also were drafted or got serious interest from MLB teams.
Has MU had any players in that category? I don't think even Horn was drafted coming out of high school — which surprised me because I had heard he had a lot of interest from pro teams.
