When people don't have the money or won't support something, it shouldn't be done
Certainly shouldn't fleece the taxpayers for a losing proposition.
Does the City of Columbia owe money to the university for the tax $$ that come in because of the business the university attracts? well that is another questions and discussion between MU, MU's AD, and the City.
This is not build it and they will come field of dreams.
Frankly baseball will never be the sport MU should hang its hat on due to poor spring weather vs the rest of the SEC. But with the local players they can field a decent team year in and year out, just need the right coach
