stages of pushing the old farts out of the party. It does need to happen because Dem leadership is fossils.

But the young wave leading the push is somewhere to the left of Mao Zedong. If they take over the party the push to the left will continue unabated and they will lose any chance of getting the independent vote, which is critical to winning the White House.
