That did happen on rare occasions but it was so rare it was a statistical zero basically. Sure the Media and Leftwing Politicians ran with that Narrative but the amount of minorities and women who got passed over was not significant on a macro scale.

This has been proven because once those barriers where removed and made illegal and policies like AA and DEI where put in place the outcome has not been a increased hiring to those jobs of qualified Merit based minority applicants but just the opposite has happened with a slew of Meritless unqualified minorities given jobs that they have not the skills to perform.
