I remember going to the baseball game and sitting by the alumni association. Alden was there (it's not hard to find people at a college baseball game) one of the alumni was shaking his head and saying he'd never come over and speak to people. I think he was only interested in the the big $ people and as you said completely self serving. When I see the tenure Castiglione has had at OU it makes me sad. He's won 25 national championships in 5 different sports there.
