practically forced on people (you’ll lose your job, etc) when the virus mutates too fast for it to prevent infection.

“We think people should take the vaccine because it lowers the chances of hospitalization and death” is better than practically forced vaccination that feels like BS when people still get sick and test positive for COVID a few months later. It gets people thinking, why are we being forced, and gives rise to conspiracy theories.
