clear view of their negotiation levers, where to concede or push.

I'm genuinely ok with this.

I think Trump is simply working to find any improvement he can get:

lowered tariffs on US goods
reduced restrictions on US goods (see Australia/beef)
leverage on border enforcement/immigration
leverage on other policies

I know many here are asking for a declared end goal summed up in a sound bite and are very upset by the mixed messaging on "goal", but I'm not feeling confused.

Whether any of this works, is "worth the pain", I have no idea - but I'm not going to gnash my teeth and emote.

Time will tell.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
