Both parties have changed, and I don't think either one will go back completely. Conservatives will be very hesitant to come back to the Republican party. I also think many people who were democrats will be hard to bring back there as well. Very fertile ground for a moderate party in the middle in my opinion. Depends a lot on who the candidates are. I really don't see a great 2028 candidate from either major party. Will be interesting.
