Gates' team did the opposite. From beating Florida in January, to getting blown out by Florida in the SEC Tournament. And by the end of the season, the team had regressed so much that it couldn't even beat a Missouri-Valley team full of D-2 players.
What a waste of a talented 12-deep roster.
