for booze. So after about 4 years of trying everything just above or below that price point - I've settled on Knob Creek 9 yr. Can't tell you why I like it, I just do. I don't like that it's price-creeped like everything else, but I just found out that Total Wine, as weird as that store is, sells it for $28, which is great if you use their coupons to add to that discount.
Couple of other things, it's been a while, but I do remember getting a bottle of Russell's 10yr early in my bourbon journey and it was excellent.
BTW, Costco midtown had Buffalo Trace available for the usual mid-20s price (limit 1, obviously)
