The 4-5 year players that turn into studs at low to mid majors will bail for the NIL money in the major conferences for their senior year.

And the fringe 2nd round picks going to the pros early will stay as well as you said, but they won't be playing at low to mid majors either.

So the quality of basketball is going to improve across the major conferences and I think it will give more teams a chance to do big things. But it will also squash out the majority of mid majors.
