My 25-yr old kid said "how'd you know that?"

I said " I don't know, it's just a rule. I thought everyone knew that"

I then admitted I don't know if I had ever seen the infraction committed, and subsequently called, before.

Point is - I'm not a huge basketball guru, but I knew it was a rule. So def not an absurd call.
