the midwest weather while living there. Having nothing but sun and heat pretty much all of the time got old real quick and I found myself missing spring thunderstorms or even show in the winter.

Plus the May through September months in Phoenix are pretty much the same as the December through March months in the midwest. With both places you can't really do much outside at all and just spend all of your time indoors.
