What you don't understand is that losing Industry has created a domino effect upon society.

Now that we effectively have a matriarchal society with more women Going to college... women earning more than their male counterparts when the 1% Elites are removed from the equation. America now have a massive number of listless male youths who are primed to become very very dangerous and major issue.

Putting those males to work in factories and employing them is better than expanding and growing the Welfare state.

I'd rather pay more for a pair of Sneakers and a TV than for my tax dollars go to the filth who sit on the arses and draw govt Checks and Benefits.

I understand that the cheap labor and resources from abroad has allowed our semi-capitalistic system to limp along. But eventually it's gonna collapse without some manufacturing base to employee the Millions who are not higher education material.
