“Liberation Day” is an impressive bit of Orwellian doublespeak.

There’s nothing liberating about being taxed more for the same goods you bought yesterday.

Nothing empowering about government officials deciding what you’re allowed to afford. Calling this “reciprocal” doesn’t make it noble—it just means everyone loses in sync.

This isn’t liberation. It’s the state tightening control and asking for applause.

They've wrapped financial restriction in the language of freedom while the public cheers on their own shackles.

War is peace. Ignorance is strength. Tariffs are liberation.
