It's been a half truth in economics instruction for eons. Even Friedman fell for it (a long with universal basic income, which has also been disproven in practice/pilot studies).

Basically, when enough money gets involved people's bad tendencies easily push things beyond the previously contemplated theoretical norms and intervention becomes necessary.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
