Here are the percentage of minutes played by returning players on each of the Final Four squads:

Houston - 82%
Florida - 70%
Auburn - 69%
Duke - 22%

In the portal era, getting key players to return is still crucial. Duke the obvious exception here because they dramatically raised their talent level by getting three likely lottery picks, which every team would do if they had the opportunity.
