I hope CLA addresses the pitching staff through the portal prior to next season by going after at least one legitimate number 1 starter. She apparently thought that Harrison and McCann were good enough, but as everyone has seen, that just hasn’t been the case. There is no guarantee that the incoming freshman from Wildwood is going to be the one and CLA has never allowed a freshman pitcher to get a lot of innings anyway.
CLA deserves a mulligan for this year but after that she deserves any heat she gets if she doesn’t address the glaring deficiencies on the team.
