Mizzou has never won an NCAA tournament in my lifetime in any sport. Sure you have to be invited to have a chance but Mizzou isn’t going to win it so it’s just not that big of deal in reality. They certainly aren’t going to win it with a team that finishes at the bottom of a conference. People can get all jazzed about it if they want but I don’t think it is a big deal if you are incapable of competing for the championship which is the point of the tourney. I laugh every year I see people sweating about seeding for the hoops tourney. If you are good enough to win it, what does it matter?
For me, I’m interested in beating rivals and waiting for the rare special teams. Most realistic following Mizzou is to just watch for the occasional special player that comes here.
