If so I messed up.
I would argue that 1990's not a bad cutoff date... for relevance to the majority of today's fans. Plus it's easier to find data from then.
What isn't arguable is that Mizzou has the 2nd most 7-10 seeds, and the only team ahead of Mizzou has gone to the tournament almost 2 times as many times in the same stretch.
Seed matters when you try to make the sweet 16 and the fact that we don't make it, isn't actually that big of a surprise
