Do you think those were the problems?

We have too many players, crazy rotations, and lack of defined roles. But Gates sees that as a strategy and advantage, that will always be part of his program.
Our game plan, if we had one, was dreadful and only served to mitigate our strengths and maximize their advantages. When nothing worked, we had no adjustments and basically panicked. It was a very poor coached game. Hopefully he learns from that and improves.
But you don’t do something special to prepare for NCAA tournament opponents, or prepare your team differently. It’s just another game/opponent. We had a very bad game which sucks, but we can’t jump in a Time Machine and try again. I doubt he meets individually with fans and fields their concerns
