that Mizzou fan would look at and say.... "why did we get a 7 or 8 or 9 seed". then somebody would say well, look at the statistical rankings like Net or Ken Pom and that proves we were seeded correctly.

Now, we have both that National Ranking and good statistical rankings and everyone wants to come up with a reason we should get a worse seed.

Mizzou has a great resume:

3 top 5 wins
10-8 in the toughest conference ever assembled (going to get 14 teams in the tourney)
No losses outside of Quad 1
and let's all be honest with ourselves, there is literally no difference in a quad 3 or quad 4 team. ...

you don't have to make it any more complicated than that ... Mizzou earned a 5 seed, if they don't get it, it will be bias for another team and bias against Mizzou and every fan with more than 20 years of Mizzou fandom knows the true score
