We have too many players, there are no defined roles

That is the same problem we had last year. This is too many capable bodies to have on a basketball team and on a game by game basis there is no consistency in terms of roles and what is being asked of specific guys.
There is a reason no other successful team has ever used this strategy. We would be a better team if you had taken 4 or 5 guys at random , any combination, and removed them in November. We can still play very good games and beat very good teams. But a roster constructed and managed like this is never going to reach its potential of the combined parts and it’s never going to realize consistency. You are always going to have 2 or 3 key guys ‘disappear’ every game.
