Dear Mizzou Admin
Mizzou baseball is just an embarrassment to the entire university. You have wrestling most of the rest of SEC doesn't ... its fine. Just drop baseball.
It makes the entire University look like losers.
OR
Get rid of the ridiculous coach you hired with NO understanding how to compete in basically Minor League baseball. Invest in a coach with SEC experience who understands recruiting and the entire system.
Then announce you're moving the baseball facility on campus and building a 50 to 60 million facility.
You need indoor infield - 8 hitting cages - 8 pitching cages - high technology for hitters and pitcher. Lounge for players just like football. Their own weight room recovery ETC ETC ETC.
Once you announce the facility move you can expect more attendance, possibly a revenue neutral sport - while offering players the option to come to Mizzou and be able to work on their craft YEAR AROUND!
Something they currently can NOT DO!
Baseball is a SKILL SPORT... imagine for a moment the basketball team another skill sport had to go outside to a playground to practice in the WINTER!
That is what you're asking the baseball team to do despite that they can use a football facility to throw. HELLO?????????
Who would EVER want to go to MIZZOU ... if you didn't have good facilities and you school was located in FLORDIA it wouldn't matter as much. BUT IN COLUBMIA MISSOURI IT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!
Kentucky it matters... they built a facility. They're winning. In Tennessee it matters... THEY BUILD A FACILITY!
