I agree Gates did a great job with Kobe plus a bunch of mid major transfers that no one thought would be good. Same thing happened this season. Mizzou was picked to finish in the bottom 5-6 by everyone in tune with college basketball.

Eventually Mizzou will get better rosters with Gates more proven background plus NIL support
