he passed the ball. I assume they told the boys to guard the three point arch. However, the coaches also had Pierce on the floor for the final 8 seconds of regulation. He had played with his head up his a** for most of the game and was repeatedly out of position to guard the rim and block out for rebounds. Not to mention dumb passes and failure to secure the ball when he got his hands on it. When I saw Pierce bite on the drive, turn his head and take one step toward the lane, I screamed at the TV. He had one job and only had to do it for less than eight seconds. Instead, he lost focus and turned a certain win into an OT defeat. If I was Coach Gates, I wouldn't let this slide, but take Pierce out of the rotation for the rest of the season.
