Honestly, I’m not sure facilities are nearly as important as paying athletes these days. I mean would a kid from StL choose Arky baseball over Mizzou because Baum seats a lot more people in a nice locale? Or does he go Mizzou to be paid more money as another choice? An appealing coach and straight cash homie seem to me to go a long way versus big stadiums that seat more fans but don’t necessarily do much for the player per se. I mean I don’t think Mizzou baseball’s player development facilities are bad. They may be skimping on NIL and paying coaching well as a bigger problem than having a new stadium.
