Dear Tiger Impact Family,

I wanted to take a moment to personally share some news with you, our most passionate supporters of Mizzou Women’s Basketball.

After 15 incredible years leading Mizzou Women’s Basketball, I have decided that this season will be my last as the program’s head coach. It’s important for me to share that I initiated the conversation with our Director of Athletics, Laird Veatch, and after a lot of reflection, I believe it’s time for a new voice to lead Mizzou’s program. Columbia and Mizzou will always have a special place in my heart, and I can’t say enough about the love and support my family and I have received over the years. I’ll cherish the relationships, the memories and the moments we’ve celebrated together.

Most importantly, I love this 2024-25 team and could not be prouder of how they have competed and represented this university. I am fully committed to finishing this season strong, and I can’t thank you enough for standing alongside us every step of the way. I’ll always be thankful for my time at Mizzou, and I know Laird will do amazing things for this athletics department moving forward. This is the end of this chapter. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Robin Pingeton
Head Coach, Mizzou Women’s Basketball

We are grateful for everything Robin has poured into this program, this university and most importantly, the student-athletes she has coached the last 15 seasons. Robin has led this program with passion, integrity and a relentless commitment to her players. We appreciate the foundation she has built and the impact she has made on the young women who have come through this program. We will soon begin a national search for the next leader of Mizzou Women’s Basketball, but right now, our focus is on celebrating Coach Pingeton and supporting this team as they finish the season.

Tiger Impact, you have been an invaluable part of this program, and your support will be critical as we move forward. Let’s finish this season strong and show Coach Pingeton and our student-athletes how much they mean to Mizzou!

Laird Veatch
Director of Athletics, University of Missouri
