companies pay for their rankings. this is true of just about any consumer report or awards or anything like that.

for example, for only $295 you can be named one of the “10 Best Estate Planning Attorneys in Missouri” in 2018 by the American Institute of Legal Counsel, an honor you can be particularly proud of.
