LVP is probably more durable but we put in some LVP

and anything dropped on it looks like crap, even utensils and heavy items with sharp corners put dents and cuts in it
This was 3 years ago and they don't have the same model available but it was the best at the time.
My friend just put some newer and better LVP in and he says it isn't as hardened as he would like.
After new carpet we don't rent to folks who have dogs and kids, etc. After the 5 year mark we do allow it. usually the 8-10 year mark we offer a discount if we don't have to replace the carpet and at 10 you just have to as it is beyond destroyed.
Worst was brand new carpet and people told us they didn't have a dog and a year later bought one and never told us.
We had to bump the rate at the end of that year and we will never recoup the damage being done by the end of the lease
