from Feb. 28-March 5, not bad for a shell of his former self.

That team and Bowers himself were too inconsistent. So good at times and then inexplicable losses. No excuse for a team with a core of Pressey, Oriaki, Brown and Bowers with some decent complementary pieces to finish 11-7 in the SEC as weak as that conference was then.
