but you teach them about sports and how to handle winning and losing. Sports are not always fair and you just have to do what you can to improve yourself and compete at the highest level. If you do all that and lose because someone allowed a male to compete against you, it doesn't make your 2nd place any worse than a 1st place if they weren't there. You can't control others, just yourself and how you handle winning and losing.
Now, I will be perfectly clear that my daughters (or son) aren't going to box or anything that would put them in physical danger by playing against a male.
