sending out rebate checks is not a way to do that.

Two wrongs don't make a right. That's all I'm saying. You solve the deficit by identifying and cutting the pork. Then you make the appropriate cuts in the budget going forward and direct all the savings toward the debt.

If it takes five years or ten years, I am willing to continue at my current tax rate to leave a better economy for my kids. Let's get it cleaned up.
