OK, well when I was born my family lived in Oakland, so we were very close to Crestwood. In fact, before I was born, my family lived in Crestwood off of Elmont Lane. My older siblings went to grade school at St. Elizabeth and they belonged to Crestwood swim club and still did when I was a kid and we lived in Oakland (less than a mile I think from their Crestwood home). Crestwood mall was our go-to shopping area and the Schnucks in Crestwood was our go-to grocery store. Oakland was in the Kirkwood School District, so I always went to Kirkwood schools (my parents didn't want to do Catholic schools anymore). We moved later but stayed in the Kirkwood School District, so I was Kirkwood K-12. Then on to 5 glorious years at Mizzou.

I'm going to guess you were in those neighborhoods just south of 44 and East of Lindbergh/Kirkwood Road and South of Watson Road.
