he was never a serious 1st round prospect coming out of hs. most sites had him as a mid-3rd rounder at best. and he hasn't done ANYTHING in his college career that would lead a scout to believe he has potential at the MLB level. if anything he's probably done the opposite. sure he could throw 90+ in high school, but nowadays there are 100 kids every year who can do that.
