look at how Louisville pulled a 180 as well. They went 8-24 last year, now they're 10-2 in the ACC.
If a school/AD/boosters are desperate enough, they can simply splurge and out-talent the competition in a sport like basketball which only requires a few excellent players to be competitive (unlike football).
But while it's possible in basketball, it's also expensive, unsustainable, and comes at the expense of football... and our boosters took it to the next level. This is the deepest roster we've ever had.
