The Russians have warned they will not negotiate with Zelensky. They don't see him as legitimate, since he canceled Ukrainian elections and his term in office expired long ago. Additionally, they Ukraine as a proxy for the U.S. The problem for the U.S. is the Russians hold all the cards and Trump has nothing with which to negotiate. The Russians will get what they want on the battlefield and there is nothing we can do to stop them. The Oboma regime CIA's 2014 Maidan coup/color revolution looks increasingly stupid and short sighted with each passing day.
