Not sure how you upgrade throwing event facilities beyond a decent throwing pad and attractive grass to impress Cantwell.

Overall, and looking at other schools, the days of dual sport facilities seem antiquated other than arena sports. Need to get soccer a more intimate stadium that gets rid of the track. Say what you will about this but ku and Arky have done a better job with their track and soccer set-up. I also like ku’s dedicated volleyball arena but they don’t field wrestling or gymnastics so they don’t have multipurpose arena needs. Seems like Mizzou is sticking with the Hearnes for a long time given recent improvements which is a shame to me because it is a real eyesore for the sports park IMO. Baseball obviously needs a similar benefactor. Also wished there was somebody who would build softball an indoor hitting/pitching facility as integrated into the stadium. That seems like a need that other schools have already done. I realize they have Devine Pavilion but they need it for quick access on gameday IMO and to keep up with peers.
