The week that ended after beating #1(at the time) ku, with the only loss being to a ranked Memphis team on the road. Playing a couple more road or neutral site games wouldn't have done anything to get MU ranked. If anything last year's ofer in conference is what was doing the damage to the ranking until people realized this was a completely different team and is pretty damn good. Could MU schedule differently to help it's SOS? Sure, and they probably will in the future. With so many new players this year Gates needed some easy games to see what guys could do without losing games. Mission accomplished. Oh, and Gabe is a little b1tch.
