You don't start 66 games and lead your team to 2 SB's if you're dumb as a box of rocks. Too many things to quickly process playing the position these days to be dumb.

He comes off that way in interviews, sure. I don't think he's actually dumb. He graduated college with a degree in communications with a 3.4 GPA. He's also got a Master's degree in HR.
