life decisions of their congregations puts more butts in seats, and more importantly $$$ in the collection plate, than challenging them to live better Christian lives.

I personally see no point in going to Church if I am not challenged to be a better person while I am there. If I want Stuart Smally affirmations I can get them anywhere.

People today are soft and many choose churches that will allow them to continue to be so.
