No, I’ve never had too much to drink at a company event. I’ve had too much to drink on rare non-work occasions, but not chronically. Hegseth has had, at least in the not too distant past, a problem of chronic public drunkenness, which is strong evidence of alcoholism. And once you’re an alcoholic you’re always an alcoholic, even if you’ve stopped drinking. My 97 year old uncle is an alcoholic and hasn’t had a drink in over 40 years. So it appears to me that Hegseth is very likely an alcoholic.
