top 20 season, top 4 in the SEC... in a sport that's much more competitive and difficult to succeed in (especially for Mizzou).

Yes, the conference schedule was one of the most favorable in the SEC despite being a brutal schedule overall. And plenty of people mentioned it.

The same is true with basketball, evidently, and that's a good thing... Gates should be able to finish Top 4 in the conference with such a favorable slate, above .500 at the very least.
