Ain’t gonna put out any pressure when all the hydrants are open.

You can fight a structure fire. Not dozens of them.

Heck in COMO tge new apartments south of CoMO, by Tolton, they couldn’t supply water when everyone’s lawn sprinklers came on in the morning.

They had to have them staggered or no pressure.

No water system would have sufficient volume for this.

I am realize there are mitigation factors.

You see hydrants painted a certain color- it tells you how many gallons per minute it will flow. Turn on a couple hydrants upstream and you aren’t getting squat.
