The government takes power regardless. It does not even follow the constitution anymore. There is barely an election process. You get the choice of only two candidates at all. And you have little input into that.
Their power of forces upon you.
In a private entity, if you don’t like what is going non you can go elsewhere. You cannot do that with government. Someone else’s vote imposes their will against you. That does not happen with government
And given that they have decided to go against constitution it is worse because it is government that then decides to enforce the constitution as it does. If a company goes against its bylaws or contracts you can go to a neutral third party to try to settle that dispute
