It is about feelings and how you wish things worked. All jobs should pay a living wage. All employment should mirror how America "looks." If a man thinks he is a woman, he is a woman (and vice versa.) If we just love people more they won't want to commit crime. And so on.

Liberalism is all about intent and has nothing to do with outcome. If you feel you are doing the right thing, that is really all that matters.
