Liberalism seeks easy solutions that look good and make the people who propose them feel good. It’s the ideology of the bandaid, the aspirin, the cough syrup. Its solutions are quick and easy but don’t address the underlying causes, as the underlying causes are actually threats to the liberal existence in the first place.
