A front page above the fold major story on wild Bill Clinton and the blue dress.

Interestingly, that they seemed to have a wealth of information just sitting around the office and they chose that time to write the article.

They carried Clinton for as long as they could. But now, every now and again, you will see the Washington Post talk about how they hit Clinton really hard about the Mona Lewinsky story.

And that's true. It's true in the same way mat tells the truth on this board. They had no other choice. The cat was out of the bag. Everybody suspected it for years and now it was out there for all to see. To maintain, or to reclaim any hint of journalistic credibility, they had to come clean.

That I think, is what the media is doing here. Ten years from now, when the context and the details are muddled, the Washington Post will tell how they lowered the boom on Joe Biden, and exposed all of his corruption and mental decline.
